I am a South African creative practitioner and educator living in the UK. Alongside my full-time role as a Senior Lecturer in Illustration at the University for the Creative Arts, I maintain an interdisciplinary creative practice informed by traditional African worldviews, ecospirituality, myth and posthumanist thought.

For me, making is a way of regulating emotion, making sense of the world, and connecting with others and with deeper aspects of being. Through drawing, printmaking, painting, textiles and poetry, I explore themes of interconnectedness, belonging, mystery and the more-than-human world. Trees, figures and intuitive mark-making frequently emerge as recurring motifs in my work.
